First stop was San Croce, resting place of many renaissance giants.
Interior contains many elaborate tombs and memorials such as this tomb of Galileo. Others include Michelangelo, Dante, and Machiavelli.

Plaza Vecchio has a copy of Michelangelo's David, but not like the real one. We were able to get into see the real one, but no photography was allowed.
